My given name is Charles G. Lang III but my grandfather, Charles G. Lang, gave me that nickname 63 years ago and it has just stuck.

So just call me Chod.

I have been a professional woodworker for more than 40 years and my passion lies in working the wood by hand. In this day and age of hi-tech there's not much call for hand work except . . . when it comes to repairing antiques and fine wood furnishings.

My profession has taken me to New York, Portugal, New Jersey, Virginia and back to New Jersey. .

I have been a self-employed woodworker / designer / restorer most of my life but steady since 1992.
